In celebration and recognition of the 50th Anniversary of Hip Hop and its influence on contemporary music, art, fashion, and culture, Music at the Intersection and Walls Off Washington will present 50 community facing events, workshops, demonstrations, installations, and parties that celebrate and elevate Hip Hop in 2023.

Our year long celebration continues on March 25th with Episode of “Elemental: The Party” at Sophie’s Artist Lounge, featuring sounds by Biko & DJ Mahf w/ guest MCs, a “Breakin Showcase” presented by Grand Leroy + live art by BRKLYN. Hosted by Finsta.

This monthly party takes place on the 4th Saturday of every month and will showcase the 4 elements of hip hop curated by some of the world’s most prolific Hip Hop DJ’s, MC’s, Artists, and Dancers.
