An exhibition centering on Humans of St. Louis’ new book & the greater St. Louis Community.
Humans of St. Louis (HOSTL) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that shares photographic portraiture and first-person stories from people in the St. Louis region. Since its inception in 2014, it has told 4,000 stories from the streets of St. Louis. Last fall, the creatives behind the site released the first, curated, hardcover, 544-page book to preserve, elevate, and share St. Louis’ current cultural history through the photographic and written record of collected stories to date. It not only offers the gift of reflection from taking the content offline and reading it in person, but it further memorializes and shares local documentary work which continues to be relevant, timely, and sparks rich conversations. Books are sold out in stores and online, but please join us for the reception and artist talk where copies will be available for purchase.
