THE DARK ROOM
Operated by the Kranzberg Arts Foundation, the award winning Dark Room inside The Grandel is a live music and art venue. The Dark Room features live music and rotating photography exhibits celebrating the sights and sounds of St. Louis. Offering a full service bar for all shows and food by Michele C. Catering for select shows and events. Bookings and promotions by The Townsend and Three Agency. The Gallery at The Dark Room is a contemporary artspace dedicated to exhibiting dynamic bodies of work by emerging and award-winning photographers from St. Louis and beyond.
The Dark Room is home to the Wednesday Night Jazz Jam – a free, family-friendly, and weekly Jazz Jam hosted by Bob Deboo. This weekly gathering brings jazz within reach for people of all ages and backgrounds. The Jazz Jam takes place from 6-9 pm, every Wednesday, inside The Dark Room.

Metered street parking exists in front of the main entrance, as well as secure garages in the surrounding blocks. The Grandel and The Dark Room are fully accessible and ADA-compliant. Accessible reserved parking and entrance (via ramp) are located on the direct west side of the building.
