We’re honored to feature Chris Bauer as our May Spotlight Photographer at Sophie’s Artist Lounge and The Walls Off Washington.

Chris Bauer is a photographer based in St. Louis, Missouri. He’s been shooting since high school and has worked across portraits, live music, editorial, and fine art. His personal projects often focus on abandoned spaces and the way time leaves its mark on them. Chris earned his BFA in Photography from the University of Illinois at Chicago and now works out of a studio in Downtown West. He’s had work published in places like Rolling Stone, Vogue, and National Geographic, but he's just as happy shooting for local artists, families, and small businesses.
