As St. Louis natives, Nancy and Ken Kranzberg show their pride for the culturally rich city through their immense support of the artistic community. In a building dedicated to the quest for knowledge and expanding the imagination, the walls of this exhibition focus on chronicling a timeline of the region’s conceptual and iviche trends ‘he selechons not only represent artists who spent considerable time in St. Louis, but also recognize established and well-known artists working nationally and internationally. By displaying various types of media such as painting, photography, sculpture, print, and drawings, this installation offers gratitude for each unique perspective conveyed by the artists.
Much like a great book that resonates intensely with its reader by unveiling the universal human experience vividly, art can also make known the unfamiliar through ohservation and individual expression. First. these artworks can be experienced as portraits of Nancy and Ken’s relationship with the artist and/or their work. However, the value of the Kranzberg Collection exceeds its prescribed material and emotional value. After all, their sustained interest in collecting illustrates the importance of cultural preservation in connecting the broader population through art. Each image is a window into another world that can inspire us to relate and thrill one another in unexpected ways. Art not only enriches our lives with beauty and pleasure, but it also pushes us to expand our horizons.

KRANZBERG ARTISTS IN RESIDENCY
The Kranzberg Arts Foundation has long served as a leading patron of the arts in St. Louis, aligning resources to support and advance the city’s vibrant creative renaissance.
The Foundation has redefined and expanded its residency programs to offer artists the space, tools, and proximity needed to deepen their practices and share their work with the public. The residencies are influenced by artists’ needs and evolve through ongoing assessment to ensure continued relevance and impact.
For this exhibition, we present recent work by past Kranzberg Arts Foundation Visual Artists in Residence. The selection highlights each artist’s conceptual range, material exploration, and ongoing creative evolution-reflecting the diversity and excellence of artists living and working in our region. Together, they embody the spirit and cultural impact of the Residency’s mission in St. Louis.
Featured Artists: José Garza, Mee Jey, David Kirkman, Moraa Nyaribo, B.J. Parker, Sarah Paulsen, Norman Spencer, and Vincent Stemmler. Also featured are St. Louis artists Kenneth Randle and Brock Seals.
