St. Louis theatre and dance companies make Kranzberg Arts Foundation venues their stage for expression. From theatre and musicals to dance and acrobatics, the Foundation works with a variety of resident organizations to provide performance space, office space, concessions, box office, and marketing support. Our Spaces
The Grandel
The Grandel has come a long way from its beginnings as the First Congregational Church in 1884, and is now a world-class performing arts venue with sightlines and capabilities that rival the finest performing arts venues in the world. The Grandel comfortably seats approximately 425 guests and can be configured to a maximum capacity of 550.

.ZACK Theatre
Located in the historic Cadillac Building, the .ZACK Theatre is a 202-seat proscenium-style theatre that hosts innovative programming. With the adjoining Turn restaurant, this venue is a great place to take the stage, while the accompanying amenities allow for patrons to enjoy themselves pre and post-show.

The Marcelle
The Marcelle is known for its vibrant exterior painted by muralist Claudio “Remix1” Rico de Alba. The building features a state-of-the-art black box theatre, with a lobby and full-serve concession stand. The intimate theatre seats up to 150.

The Kranzberg
Able to seat up to 100 people, the black box theatre is a flexible venue easily able to be customized to host countless creative and artistic endeavors. The Kranzberg features a state-of-the-art lighting and sound system, plush theater seating, box office, and artist amenities.
