Staff Profile: Larry Morris, Director of Programs and Partnerships

Long before joining the KAF team in May 2022, Director of Programs and Partnerships Larry Morris had a relationship with the Foundation as a creative in the St. Louis music scene, through his band, iLLPHONiCS performing at KAF venues and Music at the Intersection, and invitations to serve on the MATI committee. Morris studied audio engineering at Webster University, receiving his bachelor’s and then a master’s degree in media communications.  What drew you to the organization? Staff Spotlight: Nanyamka “Nay Nay” Ewing, Promotions & Events Manager

Nanyamka “Nay Nay” Ewing joined the KAF team in 2019, starting at The Dark Room as a bartender before transitioning into programming and promotions. As the Foundation’s Promotions and Events Manager, she curates programming, builds community partnerships, and elevates the visibility of local artists. She has an associate degree in graphic design from HIckey College and bachelor’s degree in human resource management from Lindenwood University. What drew you to KAF? Staff Spotlight: Carman Grisham, Event & Booking Manager

As Event and Booking Manager, Carman Grisham is responsible for all things related to booking and coordinating events across KAF venue, working closely with artists, arts organizations, and nonprofits to help them bring their ideas to life — whether that’s a play, concert, dance show, film screening, or community event. From start to finish, she helps connect creatives with the space, tools, and support they need to share their work with the public. Staff Profile: Brandon Anschultz, Director of Studios & Galleries

Director of Studios & Galleries Brandon Anschultz joined the KAF team in 2022. A painter, sculptor and printmaker, Anschultz holds a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from Louisiana Tech University and a Master of Fine Arts degree from Washington University in St. Louis. His work has been featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions.  What drew you to KAF? Staff Profile: Matthew Washausen, Creative Director Matthew Washausen joined KAF in 2017 as a graphic design intern, having been introduced to the Foundation by a former professor who knew about his passion for both the arts and music.
